This is the page where Science Club members can get all the latest information on Bio Expo. Also, all team members who are working on Bio Expo should check this page frequently for updates.
Bio Expo will take place on Saturday May 4, 2013 at the Connecticut Convention Center.

We had a meeting on Dec. 4th to start formulating an idea for expo. We also talked to Tom Ranieri, the owner/operator of CRR resources in Costa Rica. He was very helpful to us in getting us to see things simply and focus on a main idea.
ReplyDeleteAn idea was formulated relating to the "fin" structure on some lizard (similar to dinosaurs) that would conserve energy.
The green Basilik Lizard in Costa Rica might be able to be used in biomimicry.
Come to next meeting with information on the lizard and also look up the leaf cutter ant. Bring ideas for projects. Next meeting date will be determined. It will be before break.
